Become An Advisor
Help us create solutions for your classroom needs
Is our National Advisory Team right for you?
Educators inspire all of the supplemental materials created by Show What You Know® Publishing. The Show What You Know® National Advisory Team is a select group of U.S. educators who help our company create the best supplemental materials and classroom solutions. As a member of the National Advisory Team, you will help develop and review supplemental materials by providing valuable feedback to our Marketing and Editorial departments.
You are a qualified advisor, if you:
- Are a teacher, curriculum specialist, or administrator with the desire to make an impact on education nationwide.
- Know and can identify the classroom challenges that you and your colleagues need help overcoming.
- Have considerable knowledge about your state standards and state assessment.
- Are familiar with Show What You Know®: our company image and our educational materials.
- Do not advise or are not employed by any other company with similar and competing educational materials.
How It Works
You can advise from anywhere in the United States. Advisors will receive materials through the mail, email, or the Internet. In the development stages of a new educational material, the National Advisory Team answers survey questions to hone our ideas and to allow you to generate new ones. As a National Advisor, we will ask you to identify problem areas that new supplemental materials could solve, as well as help us to define the features that a new supplemental material should include. You may also have the chance to test and review new educational materials before they are available to educators nationwide.
Benefits
National Advisory Team members will benefit from developing solutions to their classroom needs, from connecting and collaborating with colleagues nationwide, and from standing at the forefront of new supplemental educational materials. National Advisors may receive recognition in the books or other educational materials they help create. There's a possible opportunity to collaborate with our Editorial department on new projects, as well as other perks.
